MISS PHOEBE S. JORDAN FAMILY DEDICATION

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2024, AT 11 A.M.
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11 a.m., Miss Phoebe Jordan will be honored at a family dedication through the unveiling of the inscription on her gravestone to mark the historic vote she cast as the first woman to vote in a presidential election in the United States in 1920. 
Phoebe Jordan is Chad Cornwell’s third great aunt, and he, Rachel Branch, The Town of New Ashford‘s Select Board:  Jason Jayko, Ken McInerney, Mark Phelps; the Town Clerk, Susan Supranowicz, and the Town Historian & Artist, Cynthia Grosso, have joined in creating this momentous occasion.
At the conclusion of the unveiling of the gravestone inscribed by Berkshire Monumental Worksthere will be reception at the New Ashford Town Hall with coffee from Jake’s Java and cookies made from Phoebe’s very own recipe encouraging very spirited & memorable conversations.
All those who wish to honor Miss Phoebe Jordan are welcome to attend.  We believe there is no question that Miss Phoebe Jordan will join us in spirit on November 2!
