Burning Permits Procedure for Town of New Ashford,MA.

Burning Season from: January 15,2021-May 01,2021

Burning from 10:00 am until 04:00 pm daily

New Ashford residents requesting a burning permit to burn brush, may now do so through the Berkshire County online burning permit program at: www.bcburnpermits.com.  There is no cost for a permit. 

On the main page, read the instructions and scroll down to the box that says “obtain permit”. Clicking this box will bring you to the page of inputting your name, address, phone number*, and email address. After you fill in this information, click submit and you will receive an email notification of your burn permit.

*Note: please provide the phone number that you may be reached at, in case there is an issue and the Fire Chief needs to call you.
